Ugh, that was just horrible. Maybe as bad as the first, or even worse. I can't even tell which one had MORE bad.

The dialog is just terrible, almost painful to read.
the artwork looks unfinished, like colored sketches.

I thought it was much better than Issue 1. Sadly that doesn't mean much since neither issue was really that great. After The Fall (both Angel and Spike) has been extremely underwhelming so far, especially when compared to Season 8 of BtVS

That was amazing. That had everything I could ever ask for in a story. Great characters. Great action. Great drama. Great comedy. Great writing. Everything worked together to make what is simply a masterpiece. Best comic... Hell, best story (including novels, TV, movies, or whatever) that I've had the pleasure of reading.

And if you believe what I just said, you're just the kind of person who this aimed towards. I'll admit it was definitely better than the first one, but that doesn't really mean anything because the first one sucked donkey balls. This one sucks too, but to a lesser degree.

Ben: I was told a lot of things, too, that I was chosen, that I was special. I end up with a tumor on my spine and my daughter's blood all over my hands.
Locke: I'm sorry those things happened to you, Ben.
Ben: Those things had to happen to me. That was my destiny. But you'll understand soon enough that there are consequences to being chosen, because destiny, John, is a fickle bitch.
