Cordy gets a new apartment, unknowing that it already has something living in it.

1x06: Sense & Sensitivity

Wolfram & Hart try to destroy Kate by making the entire police force go on a sensitivity training.

1x07: The Bachelor Party

Doyle's wife comes in town to get a divorce, she wants to marry a demon who eats the old husbands brain.

1x08: I Will Remember You

Buffy comes in town and Angel turns human.
Grade: A-

1x09: Hero

A pack of demons soldiers is in town with the mission to destroy all half breeds. Doyle gets the ultimate test of courage.
Grade: A+

1x10: Parting Gifts

While Cordy is still grieving, she gets her first vision. And an old 'friend' comes in town.

1x11: Somnambulist

An old student of Angel is in town while Kate finally discovers Angel's true identity.
Grade: A+

1x12: Expecting

Cordy has a one night stand but wakes up 18 months pregnant.
Grade: B-

1x13: She

Angel protects a bunch of woman from another dimension.
Grade: D+

1x14: I've Got You Under My Skin

A boy is posessed by a demon and Angel and Wesley try to get it out of him.
Grade: B+

1x15: The Prodigal

Kate's father is involved with some demon drug dealing while Angel remembers how his dad used to torment him.
Grade: B

1x16: The Ring

Angel is captured and the only way to escape is after his 21st kill.
Grade: B-

1x17: Eternity

Angel protects an actress who wants to stay young for all eternity.
Grade: A

1x18: Five By Five

Faith is in town and out for some fun, Wolfram & Heart hire her to kill Angel.
Grade: A

1x19: Sanctuary

Buffy comes in town and has a confrontation with Angel and Faith.
Grade: B+

1x20: War Zone

Angel meets a gang of kids who kill vampires.
Grade: B-

1x21: Blind Date

Lindsey gets a choice between good and evil, while a blind woman is send to kill a bunch of blind kids.
Grade: B+

1x22: To Shanshu In L.A.

Wolfram & Hart summon a demon to destroy Angel, who's starting with his friends.
Grade: A

Season 1 of Angel was a good start, but it is definitely my least favorite seasonn of Angel. It really lacks a real arc for starters.

If I have to pick a favorite, it is definitely Hero. Such a sad goodbye to such a wonderful character.

Agreed once again Hero was the best epi.

Five By Five and Sanctuary are the best episodes of this season.

I like this season, but a lot of things bug me about it...it's too standalone, nothing really takes off until season two, Gunn is beyond annoying, among other things.

And I also really resent the fact it's in fullscreen.
