My parents bought me a hand-held video camera, which was really surprising since I've never really expressed an interest in having one and it was such a substantial gift, but I'm pretty happy with it. It will be great to have something like that to entertain myself with for the next few months before uni, life, etc.

Tonight I went out with family, seeing as though it was my mother's birthday on the day before mine, and every year we have a joint dinner on one of our birthdays. And tomorrow night I'm going to an 18+ gig in the city with two of my closest friends.

It should be a great next couple of months, which will be good, considering how hard the last three weeks have been.

It's basically just a concert with no underage screaming girls and instead people who are nice and friendly to you, and well, alcohol. It was so nice to be able to hear the band for once rather than just screaming teens.

Nope, the band doesn't get naked and neither does the audience. There is just a heap of alcohol avaliable and many sweaty, loud men and drunk chicks.

It's a band called the Midnight Juggernauts. They're Australian.
