Uh, let's see...I've always liked stuff like it (The Omen, Rosemary's Baby) and I liked Elisabeth Harnois. And while I definitely think the show could have been done differently and been much better I found it pretty entertaining and different, and I just somehow got addicted to it when it was on. Loved the cliffhanger endings of each episode. Hmm character wise I mainly only liked Christina, Boyd (the evil guy), and the Kramer family (the people Christina stays with)...everyone else I felt I would have liked had they cast different people.

Also the show manages to be subtle and clever in a lot of ways, and I could appreciate that.

But then again whenever I watch it I think about how differently they could have written it and made it 10x better. But that's part of the fun, almost. But regardless I can still watch the show and enjoy it, so suck on that bitch! haha

I do remember watching it and loathing it. Only because there was so much potential, and an impressive writing staff, and yet it just remained decidedly average. I did enjoy the 60s episode, or whatever period it flashbacked to, and the last few episodes were not so bad, but it was so blah. Thanks, anyway!

Yes, I will admit at times I got incredibly frustrated with it. I mean, when you think about it, they could have taken the basic idea for the show (girl who's the Antichrist washing up in a small town) and gone in any direction with it. I think they were just trying to make it more compatible with The OC at first so they toned it down. But I think it could have been much better had they maybe gone down more of a horror route and focused more on the weird things that were supposedly happening in town (they always mention this yet we never see it)...and had a slightly different cast...and made it darker and more violent with more sex...:)

But yes Point Pleasant is one of my guilty pleasures. haha.

Yeah I've been back a while. Still jobless though. Living in Salt Lake. Gonna have to apply for food stamps tomorrow since I am now out of food with no money. Made some little stoner buddies down in Orem before I came to Salt Lake and spent a week and a half completely fucked up every day, which was a nice fun distraction. Hoping to go back to Orem tomorrow after Pantsless Family Home Evening for a week or so since the job search is so slow.

Well, ecstasy is my favorite drug to do (but generally only if I can smoke a lot of weed on it). But in terms of painkillers I like Percocet and Xanax...my friend Des usually has pills when we drink so I do em with her. I haven't done ecstasy since November though. :/ So almost a year. As soon as I get a job I'm gonna buy some.

Relaxes you, gives you a body high, everything is much more pleasant, helps you sleep...they're pretty awesome, but since abuse potential is high I don't do them much. I've never bought them, either. Like I said I do them with Des when we drink mostly.
