Simon was ok. Did it answer why Six killed the baby in the mini-seires?

No, but she obviously did it to give it a quick death. It was going to die anyway
It shows the explosion and where the Final Five were.
It shows what happened to Shelly Godfrey (Six in Six Degrees Of Separation)
It shows the planning of that Five that exploded (Litmus)
but mostly, it showed the two Cavils that were airlocked at the end of Season 2. They were planning everything, the priest on Galactica and the one that was with Anders.

So, I finally got around to watching this tonight, after getting it a while ago.
Too tired and too late to go into a detailed review. I'll write one in my review thread tomorrow (if I don't become too lazy about it). But in short, I really enjoyed it. I liked how it basically filled in the missing gaps in the first two seasons, but also managed to put together a kind of cohesive storyline with the two Johns.
Hmm... 4 1/2 stars?
Hurley (listening to a radio transmission): You hear how clear that is? That's gotta be close, right? Sayid: Radio waves at this frequency bounce off the ionosphere. They can travel thousands of miles. It could be coming from anywhere. Hurley: Or any time... Just kidding, dude.
Ben: I was told a lot of things, too, that I was chosen, that I was special. I end up with a tumor on my spine and my daughter's blood all over my hands. Locke: I'm sorry those things happened to you, Ben. Ben: Those things had to happen to me. That was my destiny. But you'll understand soon enough that there are consequences to being chosen, because destiny, John, is a fickle bitch.
Sayid (about Ben): Forgive me, but the day I start trusting him is the day I would've sold my soul.

Don't really feel like making a longer review for it now. But feel like mentioning two things which I would have mentioned in a review:
1. Were the flashes in the Starbuck/Leoben scene really what she saw? Or was it just showing where it went from there in a kind of dramatic effect? Would be strange if she saw all that so early into the series.
2. One of my main problems with the movie is that, with all the different plot threads, it did sometimes feel kind of fragmented. My dad used the example of it feeling like a longer version of the webisodes. That being said, I still thought it did a great job of tying those fragments together to make a very good story.

I finally got to watching it. It was very good and nice to learn about some of the things that went on with the Cavils. I loved the Simon things. All the repeated scenes from the show got a little annoying and the jumping around but that's okay. The final scene was awesome ♥

I didn't find the repeated scenes annoying. In fact, I found them to be pretty interesting, since we got a new perspective on all of them.
