crap because
- this guy at school who keeps harassing me fully started grinding his crotch into my arse on the dancefloor, so I elbowed him in the stomach, but he went away before I could kick him in the nuts.
- the DJ only played his shitty music and wouldn't play the iPod with the songs that we had spent ages compiling and that I had spent ages organising because, well, one of the excuses we got was the iPod was too soft, which I assume meant that it wasn't loud enough.
Like, WTF? He's hooking it up to speakers.
The other excuse was that the table had no iPod deck, which is totally fucking stupid and probably a lie, because he had told us that he'd need an iPod of songs from us.
because I'm on the council and I was in charge of getting music on the iPod, everyone assumed that I picked all the songs, and since the music was shit last night, guess who will get the heat from people?
- when everyone in my group went to get a picture taken, I wasn't there, so they took it anyway.
good because
- the food was orgasmically awesome. I had chicken, roast beef, pasta, baby roast potatoes, broccoli, GRAVY GALORE!!!!, and a heap of different desserts.
- everyone looked awesome and the setting was awesome. We had it at AQWA, which is this aquarium place set right on the water, and our corner table had views onto the ocean from nearly all sides. Unfortunately, it was raining so the room didn't go all pink when the sun set like I've seen in pictures from previous years.
- I started crying, embarassingly, after the whole photo debacle, so some of my friends and Ms Zorbas, student leadership co-ordinator, rallied and got everyone in the group back together for another photo.
- I also got heaps of awesome photos on my camera. At the end of the night, in the last 10 minutes or so, I went around getting one on one pics with all my friends and some teachers, which was pretty awesome. This was to make up for the rivercruise earlier this year where I was in like 2 photos in total.
Overall, I hyped myself up heaps and was majorly disappointed.
