that looks like a very interesting movie. I'd like to know what Joey thinks of it as well.

Now to review the JD movies Im behind on. READY? :D

The Maker- THE CORRECT ONE this time. halfway decent if predictable and loopy. :snoopy: :snoopy:

The Pianist- Brody is beautiful. This movie is very important and represents a dark time in history. Just beautiful. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

The Piano- Holly Hunter won a richly deserved Oscar (and so did Anna Paquin) for this dark piece of breathing poetry where Hunter plays a deaf woman dealing with some STRONG emotions. Odd and particularly moving. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2

A.I.- I thought this was amazing from the first frame to the last. Haley Joel Osment should've been nominated for an OScar as a robot boy who has the Pinnochio syndrome. Jude Law is equally good as a robotic gigolo and Frances O Connor breaks hearts as a mourning mother. STUNNING and underappreciated.
:snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2

Lucky Number Slevin- Good old fashioned storytelling of mistaken identity with a talented cast. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2

Natural City- A bit predictable as these movies go but a fascinating daydream also..and even a nightmare. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

Scary Movie- The first was VERY clever and led up by Anna Faris (a vastly underused talent). Kudos to Regina Hall for playing the "token black girl" and to Carmen Electra for being sensational in the opening..hilarious. GOOD FLICK! :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

Scary Movie 2- Things started going downhill immediately. :( Chris Elliot made me laugh sometimes (?). Anna Faris and Regina Hall still did their best. :snoopy: :snoopy:

Scary Movie 3- A little better than part 2. When it works, it works good. When it doesn't (like the last 15 minutes) it REALLY doesn't!!! :snoopy: :snoopy:

Scary Movie 4- This was the nadir. Maybe two funny moments in the whole script. Anna and Regina were still good. :snoopy: 1/2

Not Another Teen Movie- This was genius and I still love it. To quote- "Tonight Im gonna fuck my brother"..or "I just jerked off in your french toast"- :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

Date Movie- It dont get much worse than this and POOR Alyson Hannigan. WHY? NO SNOOPYS :(

Epic Movie- Sometimes it was fun. Sometimes it REALLY WASNT! :snoopy: 1/2

Meet The Spartans- PURE UNFILTERED SHIT! NO SNOOPYS :(

Superhero Movie- It tried to be better than some of the others. Tried is the key word here. :snoopy:

Disaster Movie- Felt like someone scraping together a last minute meal with whoopee cushions in the seats. :snoopy:

Pineapple Express- This was a quirky, messed-up, twisted, dark and very hilarious buddy picture. James Franco steals the show. SEE IT! :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

(Thats what I got for yours) WHEW! This took a few.

I though Id atleast get to this one before the weekend for you. Viggo is indeed FULL FRONTAL in one of the most intense fight sequences I've ever seen. It is quite a good performance from Mortensen, using a Russian accent. Nice crazed movie. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

Network- :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: - A masterpiece of the media and whats wrong with the media. Richly deserved Oscars!

All That Jazz- :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: A haunting musical depending on how you view it. Illuminating.

Touch Of Evil- :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2- Orson Welles had rarely been better at what he does. Amazing stuff if a couple of flaws.

All About Eve- :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: - One of the best things Hollywood ever made. Bette Davis, Anne Baxter, Marilyn Monroe, Celeste Holm, George Sanders.. this is a dark, fun comedy that shines every moment.

This one is not as perfect as many let on. However, I still adore it. Michael Clarke Duncan is excellent. Tom Hanks is kinda miscast but he makes it work most of the time. Some truly unforgettable sequences. Good movie..

True Blood - Strange Love
Lost - Live Together, Die Alone
Buffy - Welcome To The Hellmounth
Heroes - How To Stop An Exploding Man
Weeds - GO

<b>True Blood Episode 1 "Strange Love"</b>- I thought it had a VERY strong opening and was highly entertaining. Anyone who couldnt feel the chemistry busting through the television of Bill and Sookie is dead in the nether regions. Not to mention the supporting cast is quite good also. RARE! Alan Ball has his work cut out for him but I felt very good about it AND IT KEEPS GETTING BETTER. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2

<b>Lost "Live Together, Die Alone"</b>- The Season 2 Finale if I recall correctly. This is a very good Desmond episode with its share of many other things..65 of them..just kidding.. And then theres the Mr. Eko situation. I think its overrated but one of the best eppys of Season 2. Just didnt like the way some things were done is all. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

<b>Buffy "Welcome To The Hellmouth"</b>- I definetly ALWAYS hate that newcomers have to start with this season though its essential. Season 2 is when it becomes the stuff of classic TV people will be talking about 50 years from now. Its good as openers go but "The Harvest" brings things temporarily to a near screeching halt. FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVENT WATCHED- Just take the ones you dont like and get to Season 2. I do think it still established characters and intrigue well and has a great opening scene. It kind of spoke to the whole genre in those moments and sucked the blood right out. :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy:

<b>Heroes "How To Stop An Exploding Man"</b>- The Season 1 Finale JIP! I have tired ever quickly of this show and its confusing character roster. This episode was barely climactic. You DEFINETLY needed to be a die hard fan. It had its injokes but mostly DEEPLY disappointing. :snoopy: :snoopy:

<b>Weeds "Go"</b>- I enjoyed the Season 3 finale and it was a good precursor to Season 4. Doug was HILARIOUS in this episode singing at the "holy" people. Mary Louise Parker is one of the best actresses working on TV today. This eppy was another example. Her words to Jonas were heartbreaking before she left the house. Great credits tie in with the fires too. I love my "WEEDS". It was also a surprise not to see some freak out ending! :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: :snoopy: 1/2
