Season four was more plot-heavy, and five was character-heavy. So, I'm torn between the two.

It is so hard to pick because in some ways they are all my favorites but for the best seasons are three and five. Season three had some of the best multi-episode arcs, plus Connor. And season 5 had a fresh feel and some of the greatest episode of the series in my opinion, A Hole In The World for example. I have got to go with season 5, today anyway.

I flip back and forth between season 3 and season 5 on a regular basis.

Season 5 definitely grew on me after a while. But I prefer Season 3 and 4. And I like Season 2 better (Even though I think Season 5 was better. Does that make sense?)

3: Best story arc, some great character moments, etc.

5: While it took me a few episodes to get into it, it definitely had the best stand-alone episodes of any season in the Buffyverse. Plus it had the great mini-arc at the end, even though I think it could have had a better ending

4: There were some moments in the story arc that I wish were different, but overall I loved it.

2: This is where the series really started to take off. Not as great as the last 3 seasons, but I still loved it.

1: Better than the Buffy seasons that preceeded it (except for 2), but not as great as the rest of the series.
Hurley (listening to a radio transmission): You hear how clear that is? That's gotta be close, right?
Sayid: Radio waves at this frequency bounce off the ionosphere. They can travel thousands of miles. It could be coming from anywhere.
Hurley: Or any time... Just kidding, dude.

Ben: I was told a lot of things, too, that I was chosen, that I was special. I end up with a tumor on my spine and my daughter's blood all over my hands.
Locke: I'm sorry those things happened to you, Ben.
Ben: Those things had to happen to me. That was my destiny. But you'll understand soon enough that there are consequences to being chosen, because destiny, John, is a fickle bitch.

Sayid (about Ben): Forgive me, but the day I start trusting him is the day I would've sold my soul.
